Hello Southern Bird. It's a reference to a previous post
http://bobsbarnablog.blogspot.com/2005/07/shoppers-newsflash-lieuten_112057298738776062.html which also has a reference to an earlier post

This picture (less the blacked-out eyes) appeared on my blog on the 8th January last year. What a small world we live on.

Nice try but unfortunately well of the mark.
Anyway I wouldn’t want to have to delve into my Reptilium and forgo the pleasure of the company of Lepidodactylus lugubris’, whose unswerving loyalty in difficult times has ........ anyway that’s beside the point, which is that the inspired guess is a bit cold.
Nevertheless, don’t give up. There are only a few billion other "things" (or concepts if you will) to choose from!

Well, obvioulsy I'm hoping it will be an Old Master. But a bar of chocolate would be equally welcome at the moment.
