I decided to change my name from naoram, basically a mnemonic device, to Erithacus rubecula. Here's the chirpy fellow, unruffled by the cold, in full song to bring cheer to hearts in the deep midwinter. I preferred the European Erithacus to the American Turdus migratorius, so called because of its tendency to gleefully shit on commuters as its departs for its holidays in the sun.
