This picture is from Titian's "Spot the Ball" series and was probably painted between 1518 and 1525. Bacchus has leapt into the air to score a magnificent header and edge the ball past the flaying keeper, Aridane, whose outstretched arm can do nothing to prevent Bacchus lifting the cup yet again.
